Pre-Course Survey: Participants will be asked to complete a brief pre-course survey to tailor the content to
their specific needs and preferences. The survey will include questions such as:
- How long have you been operating your business?
- How many staff/employees do you currently have?
- Course content areas of most interest (participants can select multiple topics).
- Any additional topics or interests not covered in the course outline that they are interested in.

- Do I have the right accreditation for the job?
- Health & Safety
- Sitewise or other pre-qual systems required (IMPAC, Nailed it)

- Public Liability Insurance (and other insurances)
Pricing/costings:
- Pricing jobs correctly
- Working out your fixed & variable costs to get your unit of cost
- Knowing your worth
- Be careful of discounting the GST!
Accounting practices:
- Cashflow
- Reserves, contingency
- Keeping good financial records/receipts.
